Before you take the plunge – these are a few things worth considering:
- TYPES OF BOATS – Day cruisers, fishing, yachts, water sports, crossover, high speed, sail, and pontoon are the most common types of boats in this area. We can help you figure out which on best suits your needs.
- BOAT SIZES – When it comes to boat size it is important to consider how many people you will need to fit on your boat and how you plan to use it. Well, boat size can vary greatly, typically fishing boats are 15 – 22 feet, cruising boats are 20 – 30 feet, watersport vessels are 15 – 25 feet, and yachts are 32 feet — longer.
- PROPULSION SYSTEMS – Boats of various uses and sizes are powered by differing propulsion systems aka engines. The most common propulsion systems are inboard, inboard/outboard, and jet.
- POST-PURCHASE – Like anything with an engine, boats require regular maintenance, check with our service team for their recommendations. Additionally, you will want to ensure your boat is registered, has all U.S.C.G required safety gear, and is properly insured.
